Dodge's annual Literacy night was held on February 8th throughout the entire school. Families, teachers, and community leaders came out to share their love of reading with each other. A "Dinner Theater" featuring video book reviews & Firehouse subs was held in the multipurpose building. Reading activities, games, SMARTBoard activities, stories and read alouds took place in classrooms. A "Reading Room" featuring the school's drama team, Dr. Stout, Mrs. Baldwin and Dr. Crist, her son, Brandon, and her mom, Joann McKnight was a popular place for sharing favorite stories. The school's library was the place to purchase new books and book related items as the annual book fair held its own wonder and excitement. It was truly a magical night. View highlights:
