National Elementary Honor Society
Monday, May 18, 2009

We are pleased to announce that our school has been granted one of the first charters of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS).  This is an exciting event for Dodge Elementary and an honor to be part of an elite group of charter schools. The qualifications for students in fourth or fifth grades to be nominated for membership to NEHS were based upon a 3.5 grade point average or higher. Those students who were nominated were invited to apply for membership to NEHS, and their applications were screened according to the four qualifications of the program: Scholarship, Responsibility, Service and Leadership. Thirty-eight students were inducted at an induction ceremony held in the school's gymnasium on May 7, 2009. We are proud to present our 2009 inductees.
