I graduated from the University of Mobile in May 2005. I earned a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. This will start my eighth year teaching.

I completed my graduation requirements of student teaching here at Dodge in a kindergarten class. This is my eighth year teaching at Dodge and it has been an exciting and wonderful experience. I  look forward to working with you and your child.

I was born in Mobile and have lived here all of my life. I graduated from Murphy High School and attended college at Troy State University. I stayed in Troy for three years and  decided to come home. I transferred to the University of Mobile where I graduated. In 2002, I married my high school sweetheart, Russell. We have two children, Russell III,  8 years old who will be in third grade this year and Carlen, who will be 5 years old in August and starts kindergarten this year.  My 18 year old sister, Angel also lives with us id starting her freshman year in college at USA.  In May 2005, I graduated and began working here at Dodge. I love to spend time with my family and travel. We have finally been able to actually go places that are fun for both children. 

I really enjoy teaching kindergarten. There are no words to describe how it feels to see children grow and develop. It is so amazing to see their faces when they figure out how to read or count or anything else that they are trying so hard to learn. It is very special for me to know that what I am doing everyday really makes a difference.
