Mrs. Alexander has been teaching for 28 years. She has taught preschool, kindergarten, first, and second grades. Originally from Mississippi, she taught in her home town of Cleveland, New Orleans, Louisiana, and St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Mobile seven years ago. She loves teaching at Dodge where she has been a kindergarten teacher, the coordinator of the Reading Renaissance program, and is currently the ARI Reading Coach.

Mrs. Alexander has been married for 33 years, and she and her husband have two wonderful sons. They also have a beagle named Honey. She enjoys reading, gardening, and being involved in church activities.
