Medication Drop-off At Meet the Teacher with Nurse Hayley!
August 6, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Parents can drop off medication during Meet the Teacher.
1. REQUIRED FORM
You MUST have the Parent/Prescriber Form completed. Medication will not be accepted without it.
2. PROPERLY LABELED
Medication must be in the prescribed bottle/package labeled with the student's correct name and administration time.
3. NO SPLITTING AT SCHOOL
If medication needs to be split, it must be done by the parent.
4. CHECK EXPIRATION DATES
Please check expiration dates. Expired medications will not be accepted.

Last weekend, Kade Hoke represented Dodge Elementary at the NASP Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida, becoming the first archer in Dodge history to qualify for and compete at this prestigious event!
Kade delivered an outstanding performance:
🎯 NASP 3D: Ranked 30th out of 157 5th-grade elementary boys with a score of 258
🎯 NASP Bullseye: Ranked 20th out of 243 5th-grade elementary boys with a score of 275
These accomplishments are a testament to Kade’s hard work, dedication, and talent. We are incredibly proud of everything he has achieved and are excited to watch him continue to grow and succeed.

Thursday, May 14th is Apraxia Awareness Day! Speech apraxia is a neurological motor speech disorder where the brain struggles to plan and sequence the muscle movements needed for speech. Individuals know what they want to say, but the message from the brain to the mouth is interrupted, causing inconsistent errors, groping for sounds, and slow speech rates.
Students are invited to show their support on Thursday, by wearing blue shirts with regular uniform bottoms.
This weekend, 3 of our archers and coach, Ms. Davis, traveled to Louisville, KY to compete in the national competitions! Kinsley, Wyatt, and Kade represented Dodge Elementary very well!
Kinsley ranked 97 out of 163 elementary girls and Wyatt ranked 148 out of 187 elementary boys! Kade earned an invitation to Worlds after earning National Reserve Champion in the NASP Bullseye, 2nd place in Centershot 3D, and 5th in the IBO Tournament! Please help us congratulate these students on their success! We are very proud of their hard work and dedication!
Last week, three of Dodge Elementary's Archers, Kade Hoke, Wyatt Nguyen, and Kinsley Wilson, competed in the NASP Alabama State Championship! We are very proud of these talented archers for their skill and dedication! A special congratulations to Kade Hoke for earning 3RD PLACE for Elementary Males with a score of 276!

Thursday, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. This year's theme is “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value." Help us spread awareness by wearing blue this Thursday! Students may wear their navy blue uniform shirt or another blue shirt, with their uniform bottoms.
