This summer, Ms. Poorman, our amazing theater instructor, trained at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London through a scholarship from the English Speaking Union of the United States (ESUUS). She worked with professional actors and directors to explore performance-based strategies for teaching Shakespeare—breaking down the Bard’s language and bringing scenes to life through scaffolding and chunking techniques.
Now she’s bringing that energy and expertise to our fall production of Romeo and Juliet!

Why Take the PSAT?
The PSAT is the only qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship for juniors.
Students can only test once per year—so 9th and 10th graders are encouraged to test for practice!
Qualifying scores may also lead to other scholarships and recognition.

Students in grades 9–11 who are enrolled in honors level courses or higher are encouraged to register.
What will I need for the test?
All students will take the PSAT on their school-issued laptop. Please bring your charging cord as well.
