Seven SES students represented our school so well in the ACTE State Tech Fair at the University of Montevallo today! Garrett Bennett, Nikolai Sieja, Mila Bridges, Sadie McBride, Sydney Rambo, Eleanor Odom, and Madison Smith placed 1st or 2nd in our regional Tech Fair and advanced on to the state level. All of these students made us incredibly proud! Eleanor Odom entered her video, Adopt Don't Shop, and won 2nd in her division! Madison Smith also won 2nd place for her incredible 3D-printed hamster cage. Finally, Sydney Rambo and Sadie McBride won 3rd place for their creative commercial video promoting their creation- the self-popping pen! All of these students were excellent representatives of our school and community. A special "thank you" to the parents for making the drive and giving your child this incredible opportunity!

Dear Semmes Elementary Families,

We are excited to announce that our Gourmet Cookie Dough & “The Drowsy Poet” Coffee Fundraiser begins on Monday, March 2 and runs through Tuesday, March 17. 🍪

This is our second year hosting this fundraiser, and we are looking forward to building on the success we had last year. Our goal is for every student to try to sell at least 5 items to help support classroom improvements at Semmes Elementary. Every sale makes a difference.

How to Participate
-Students will bring home fundraiser packets on Monday, March 2.
-Make checks payable to Semmes Elementary School.
-Online orders are available at: www.supportmyschool.shop/collections/semmes
- You may also use the QR code on the flyer for quick access.
-Online orders ship directly to the buyer, and students still receive credit.
-Coffee, tea, pre-baked cookies, and coupon books are available online.
-Please note: Frozen cookie dough is not available for online purchase.

For safety, students should not go door to door. We encourage families to help students sell to friends, relatives, and co-workers and to share the online link through social media to increase sales.

Pick-Up Information
-All frozen cookie dough orders will be shipped directly to the school. After Spring Break, we will announce the official pick-up date and time.
-Please note that shipping is handled by the cookie dough manufacturer, not the school. We appreciate your patience as we wait to receive a confirmed delivery date before scheduling pick-up.

Student Incentives
-Every student who sells 12 items or more will be invited to attend the Semmes Elementary Ice Cream Party.
-Our Top 3 Sellers (minimum of 15 items sold to qualify) will participate in the exciting Famous FundRays Money Jump.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make this fundraiser even more successful than last year. We truly appreciate our Semmes Elementary families.
